I have been a resident for over 20 years. In the past, I have seen it dramatically improve. The office staff is extremely professional, helpful and friendly. There were problems before with a bad manager who made empty promises, and she hired bad maintenance people so things did take a while to get fixed. But that manager and all of that maintenance staff is gone. They do everything they can to help. I have seen them personally help jump start a car among other things to help. I have NEVER had a bug problem. If you call to let them know, they will send pest control. We must remember that we live in Florida (bugs exist here). I like all the things they have done to make this place better. Free videos, monthly events, baked cookies every day, gym, etc. As for the comment that the last person wrote about 3 days to get out of a lease, obviously doesn't know what they are talking about. The law states you have 3 days to back out of an application for a lease, but not the lease itself. It is true that you can get out of some contracts within 3 days, like cars or furniture but real estate is not one of them. I truly believe the bad comments on here are from people who don't like it when the rules are enforced and try to get even. Like I said, I am a very long term resident and will not move. I know of many other tenants who have also been here for over 10 years, and love it here. Would all of us stay if it was really bad' No. I agree with the statement, to see the apartment you are moving into before you sign the lease, and do not sign unless you are satisfied. I have referred lots of people here and so have many others that I know of. I really like it here. If everyone that was happy with the place wrote, and not just the ones who had to pay late fees or other things that made them mad, I believe there would be over a thousand reviews on here. No place can be perfect, but they really try to be.
