You can find a better place to live in Iraq

This has got to be one of the worst places to live in, in this country. I've been here for a year, and the only reason why is because the reant is fairly affordable. That, my friends, is the only good thing about this place. I have had numerous ammounts of things not working in this God awful place. First the doors don't actually shut all the way, so you can expect some of God's creatures to join you in your apartment. Second I had a serious problem with my garbage disposal. It would not work at all. So I called management and they say they will get someone out there... 2 F**KING months later they send someone to fix our blackened water that has accumulated because the damn faucet leaks so it fills the ever increasing, stinking black mildewed water. Oh yea and after they fixed it, which they had to fully replace the garbage disposal, but for some reason they kept on trying to replace the power outlet, which doesn't work by the way. These people must be the dumbest people ever. Anyways the "maintenance" man takes off the garbage disposal and of course the water spills out and all the nose wrenching stench of water spills under the sink. The good thing was that he fixed the garbage disposal and that it actually worked. The bad part was that he didn't even try to clean anything up and just left me hanging. Another story I have is with the air condition. This thing does blow out some very cool refreshing air, and that's no problem. Bad news is that it only does it during the winter. Right now its May, and hot like the under side of an elephants a$$. I have called them for about 3-4 weeks about the air condition not working. And they send a "maintenance" man to "fix" it every 4 days after I have called and called. Actually I called today and they said they would send someone out. It's 4:38 P.M. I doubt anyone is coming. Well they would come out and look at the air condition and say the problem is that I don't have it on. No friggin duh, IT DOESN'T WORK that's why!! They then try an assortment of crap and the last guy that came over said the reason was that the vents were totally clogged and not clean and that I don't have a filter. Where were the other "maintenance" men for this assumption before. Well he cleans it with this awful smelling crap, but I was willing to take it as long as the air condition would work. He leaves and tells me to turn it on in 30 minutes. I wait, turn it on and I feel air coming through, but after 4 hours of waiting for coolness to magically appear, and I am still in 87 degree weather. To tell you the difference it's actually cooler outside. I call the "maintenace" and they said its probably cause we live on the top floor. ...... WHAT!!!! IS HE SERIOUS''!'!'! I about jumped out the window, because I live on the top floor. He must be right cause the temperature does rise about 200 degrees ever floor you go up... What a MORON!!! I swear this place is bad, nasty, and everyone that works here is just stupid. I am so happy that I found another place to live, even though it costs a lot more, but its well worth it if half of everything there works. I swear I hope this helps you in your decision. 1 mans pain is another mans gain. Oh yea, the ice cream man comes here all the time, so instead of sweating it out in your apartment that you pay good money for, buy a friggin popsicle
