The worst place I have ever lived From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/20/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007 1 response   This was the worst place I have ever lived in. I am in the Navy and was transferring down to FL on orders and had no time or money to come down and look. My wife and I found The Commons on line and it looked nice and is part of the Navy's apartment program. When we got down here and went to move in, we walked into the apartment and there were roaches. This was just the beginning. We lived in the 3rd phase apartment complex on Leon Rd. Which is across a fence (which they tore down with no notice) from a halfway house (which they did not tell us about) who threw there trash on my car and over the fence. The grounds are always dirty with the trash that is never picked up by the "valet" trash pickup when the say it will be. We had raw sewage in our master bath room for 3 days because they said it was not an emergency. The management does not care about the people they just want you in there apartments. The laundry rooms are always full of trash from people throwing there lint and dryer sheets in the floor. We had toilets on our lawn for a week before they got rid of them. The fitness center is a joke it has 3 old tread mils 2 bikes 1 universal weight machine and 1 elliptical machine. The list could go on and on and on so this is just the tip. If you are thinking of moving in here stop, and look for a different place to live.
