I've been a resident for three years and have always paid my rent early or on time. We have no pets and no children, and work ten hour days minimum. My husband and I are home and awake maybe 4 hours a night and asleep the other six. Yet our neighbors feel we are intrusive and loud. I have had complaints from downstairs neighbors because the apartments are not well insulated or designed. The management has NOT handled these complaints well at all. After living here three years and never having had a complaint our first one came when new neighbors moved in. The management treated us as if were were regular disturbers of the peace. They left us nasty messages yet refused to tell us what it was we were doing, when we were doing it, or who we were disturbing. They felt they had to "protect" the neighbors. I was highly ofended that we had lived her quietly and respectfully for three years and the neighbors who had moved in just three weeks prior were being the ones protected. The second time we were sitting on our porch talking at a regular conversation level at 8:30 pm on a Friday night and the neighbors didn't like it. Yet, rather than come to our door and simply ask us to keep it down they called the office and the management told them to call the sheriff's office on us. When the police arrived even they said it was a rediculous call and they shoud have never been called out for what we were doing. I would never live here again.
