DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!! My problems started from the showing of the apt. I wanted a 2 bedroom and they showed me one, a model, came back to the office and told me they didn't have any apartments at all. Then come to find out they had 1 one bedroom. I told them I would take that one. This was all on a Monday. I work for a preferred employer so I had no deposit or no app fee. I took the application with me and faxed it to them on Tuesday morning. I called them later and asked for the leasing agent who I was told was not there and would be back Wed and I would need to wait. I called Wed and was told she was not there again and I would have to wait. I spoke to the asst manager and asked her to run everything as I needed to move in the end of July and was cutting it close. She said she couldn't because the agent had to do it. I think it was because she was too lazy to get off her fat ass and punch in some numbers. Thursday comes around and I call and the leasing agent informs me she never got my fax. I advised her I sent it on Tuesday and advised her I can show her the confirmation where it went through (I wanted to make sure no one took the 1 one bedroom) She told me just cause it went through doesn't mean they got it. Well, hello, if they didn't get it then THEY have a fax problem. She then asked I fax it again which I did. Then I get a phone call saying they can't do anything because they don't have the 200.00 "admin" fee, which constitutes the fee for them for doing nothing and treating customers like ----. SO I had to leave work and go up there and pay the two hundred dollars before they would do anything. They couldn't have told me this say on Monday when I was there' I talked to the manager who said I wouldn't hear anything until Friday. At this point they have had my application a week and have done nothing with it. Friday at 4 o'clock I get a phone call saying the app has been approved based on an extra deposit. I advised her I would have to get back with her and let her know since there were two of us that would be living there and needed to talk to them. Well after all this I did not want to live there so I went and got a new place over the weekend. I called them Tuesday morning of the following week and advised them to just cancel everything and I wanted my 200.00 back. The asst. "manager" advised me I had forfeited my money because I didn't tell them within 48 hours. I asked her where it says I have to tell them within 48 hours (keep in mind this is after a week of them having my information and not doing a damn thing) She said it doesn't say it anywhere. I told her I was putting a stop payment on the check and she said she would have the manager call me back. NEVER HEARD ANYTHING TO THE DAY. Then I get a call from the leasing agent the Friday before I was "going" to move in and she asked me if I was going to be moving in there or not. After all I have went through with them and what I told them I don't believe she had the audacity to call and ask me if I was moving to their community. All in all do not move here unless you like being lied to, treated like crap, taken advantage of, and not respected. This property was recently purchased by Equity which I thought would be good and the only reason I went to visit them but I guess that doesn't mean anything.
