I lived at Country Club Lakes for a year in 08-09. My roomate at the end of our lease decided to stay and transfer at the end of his lease with is fiance. So i asked him if he would transfer our garage we had to his new lease and keep my stuff in the garage and pay him the $50 because i had to move and take care of my sick mom and no room for my stuff. So we went to the office and explained to them about the transfer. Trish the office lady said everything she would take care of everything get it transferred. Well a month later he was never charged for the garage and went to the office to let them know and Trish said it will show up on the next bill pro-rated. Well, two weeks later i went to the garage to get some stuff and noticed all my stuff was missing! So we hurried to the office to figure out what was going on and Trish acted as if she had no idea what was going on and said we never went to the office to talk to her about the transfer and they had leased it out to someone else. They made us feel like liers and idiots and accused my friend for my missing stuff. They denied their maintenance men throwing out my stuff and didn't come clean about it till the cops showed up. The only thing they gave back to me was my broken moped! The office manager April was very rude and uncaring to my situation. We ended up filing a claim with their legal department. My stuff was well worth over $5,000. I was still making payments on my bedroom and living room furniture which was over $2,000 alone. I recieved a check settlement for $4000 which barely covered my furniture, lcd tv, and desktop! My yearbooks from elementary-high school and all my pictures are sentimental stuff that money cannot replace!
