I have been living in Courtney Meadows for a few months now. I have read some other reviews and have to agree on the gate, pet issues and stairwells. The gate has worked for about a week since I moved in, people don't even walk their pets on leashes and the stairwells and hallways are filthy. There are hornets nest everywhere including one on my door that I had to get rid of. Also, the garbage dumpster is always full. Fortunately, I have no issues with noise since there is only one other tenant on my floor and I am in a building that has a lot of parking around it. (Stay away from building 12 or 13!)
I think this community benefits from its location. The area is central and currently one of the most expensive areas to live in but I would have to say since I have lived in two communities within a mile of CM that this place is not a premier complex. I don't think that these apartments are worth the premium rent they are charging therefore I would probably not recommend renting here unless you are committed to living in this area and can't afford anywhere else.
I have not been impressed with the handling of maintenance issues...instead of having them fix my AC they left me a note saying that I should just subtract 3 degrees from whatever the thermostat says!
