I had no real issues with this place other than the thin walls until my apartment was broken into two days 8/29 before I was due to move out 8/31. My $1200 laptop was stolen as well as my laundry change that I had in my jewelry box. I told management and the gist of that conversation was I should of had renter's insurance. I called the police (JSO) who arrived a hour later. The officer who survey the scene agreed with me that the scene (i.e my apartment) was "staged" (i.e. made to look like they went through the bedroom), but I window was locked from the inside and it still had cobwebs on it, still intact. There was no forcible entry and my bedroom sreen was pulled off and placed in my livingroom. However, the officer failed to put that in the police report. The detective (JSO) assigned to my case took a whole week before she even called me back (and this was after numerous calls). When she called she gave some story about how busy she was and she would get to when she could and that she would check the pawnshops(that was the gist of that conversation).

I called the Brittany Group and spoke with Erica who told me that the regional manager Jamie D. would assist me, but I only time I heard from her was when she called and wanted to get a hold of the police report that I filed. After I gave her the number I never from her again and she did not return any of my calls thereafter. No one had access to my apartment, but management and maintenance, I had the two keys issued to me in my possession. I know it was an inside job. So, if you do decide to rent from this place - change your locks, hide your possesses and stage your apartment so you will know if anyting has been tampered with. Because trust me they are watching your every movement. What good is renter's insurance if the people who you rent from are going to rip you off (rhetorical queston).

I KNEW IT! THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME AND MY HUSBAND! RIGHT BEFORE WE MOVED OUT WE STILL HAD A FEW THINGS LEFT IN THE APARTMENT, AND MAGICALLY THEY WERE MISSING. WE INFORMED THE APARTMENT AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO, WE CALLED JSO, THEY CAME OUT AND SAID THAT THERE WAS NO OBVIOUS BREAK INS, WE KNEW IT WAS MAINTENANCE, IT HAD TO BE..FOR ANYONE WHO PLANS ON LIVING HERE...DONT!

Thats the new staff for you...young kids they bring in. Should have stuck with the old staff, noone complained about their stuff missing then. Thats terrible, If I worked there I would be so embarrassed.
