My friend is moving in to these apartments from out of state. he came down to look for properties before the move, and was looking for something close to his job since he doesnt know the city. everyone was nice and the apartment that they showed him was acceptable. when he arrived after the long distance drive, he was greeted by an apartment that was not move in ready. from roaches to things left in the dishwasher to overall filth, this apartment was not ready to rent to anyone. He was also hit with the fact that he has to purchase $50,000 in renters insurance. What does that say for security at this place. He has signed a one year lease and is completly unsatisfied with the decision. Stay away. There has to be better apartments in Jacksonville than this property.

Oh yes there is better, no doubt about it. The renters Ins is just to protect themselves and other residents though, nothing to do with the complex or safety...if there was a flood or fire and you have insurence then everything will be covered thats just good to have. I belive they would move people in that way, but only the new staff would, the old staff a year ago wouldnt have though, they would stay and prepare apts at night if they had to, just to get them done..Ive seen them do it.
