I moved from palm beach last year and i was looking for something nice gated community washer/dryer in the apt gym playground etc...when i looked at the place kahala the assistant manager was really nice and told me everything i wanted to hear..but that all changed after they got there money!! i asked if they had a 6 month lease they said no, so i signed a year one, i was supposed to get my washer and dryer to days after moving in(i have been here 4 months and still no (w/d) thats what sold me on the 2/2 apt instead of the 1/1.. maintenance here is a joke i cant even use my master shower and my apt smells like rotten eggs atleast 2x a weeks(problems with the pipes) my floor is caving in and my toliet is falling through the floor. I am paying 785 for a 2/2 when i can only use half and no w/d i should have gotten a 1/1! oh remember i said they had no 6 month lease my friend moved in the next month and signed one..thats B.S. and dont ever be late on your rent b/c melody and kahala threating thier little hearts out with eviction and lie to you about 3 day notice.. NEVER REFER A FRIEND YOU WILL NEVER GET THAT $500.00 THEY SAY YOU WILL!!!

I moved to Deerfield in June of 2004, it was one of the worst years of my life. Did it end there? No, when you have your apartment cleaner than when you move out, do you get your security deposit???? No, they add all these RUBS, adjusted water and sewer charges. I did not even stay at the apartment the last two months of my lease, the individuals that moved in downstairs had broken the picture window and were using that as the door. Safety??? I think not??? Back to the money that Deerfield indiscriminately deducted from my deposit, it was $45,00.. I had already paid the water bill, Melody and company felt compelled to subtract it from my deposit. I contacted Bethany Homes Group the parent company and after 7 months of complaining I was sent an 8 dollar refund. Would I recommend anyone to live at Deerfield---NO would I ever live at a Bethany Group run apartment complex---Never again.

Yes, Deerfield does have 6 month leases..they did lie to you, probably just to keep someone in there for a year, cause they know in 6 months you will be gone and their numbers will go down again. Melody was suppose to be a superstar at the north side property, but I have heard nothing but bad things about her at Deerfield. WOW, you are only paying $785 for a 2/2?? Thats great compared to the $829 I was paying before I moved out, huh I guess they had to go down in price to get someone to live there, yeah there not worth that much I know. And the w/d deal is BS, beleive me the last staff would have got you a w/d no problem, they wanted to keep the residents happy and they did what they had to do to get that done, I knew them personaly. To Beverly, thats crazy..a broken window should get fixed asap...deff a safety issue there, someone needs to call the Apt Association on them. Yeah Bethany is all about numbers and money!
