There's been a lot of whining on this review thread. Let me cut to the quick; if you're not an adult, and can't handle little inconveniences that life may throw your way, don't move here because 'it' happens here just like everywhere else. That should take care of 95% of these complaints. Grow up, man up, whatever you have to do and tell your neighbor to stop being loud or leaving trash around and get an alarm for your car. Problems solved. Ya babies.
I will agree that the cable, water and internet monopoly are just wrong. That should be reevaluated. It is my only complaint about the complex.
The garbage at the compactor does occasionally overflow, but only because some residents are too lazy to open the door and insert trash.
Jen is great as a manager and as a person... as are all of her employees. Zero complaints and nothing but effusive praise here. If she ever leaves I will be upset.
The amenities, build quality and location are all fantastic. Unlike every other complex in town, you can't even see the place from the road... it truly is an 'enclave.' It feels much more secluded than it actually is.
One other complaint; if this place never goes condo, I will eventually have to leave so I can build some equity somewhere else. If they ever do offer to sell me my unit... I will be here for quite some time.
Give this place a look... you won't be dissappointed.
[AN UPDATE... 10/26/05] Well.. I'm going to revise my review down a few nothces. The new management staff IS rude and rather indifferent compared to what I was accustomed to in my first year here. Both gates have also been broken for well over six months. The overall feel of the complex has changed as well... it seems as though there are more transient tenants, and the place has lost the neighborly feel it had going for a while. Other than that, the place still looks great, and I feel like I'm getting my money's worth when compared to other complexes in this town (this isn't to say that $800 a month for a 1BR isn't a complete RIPOFF in the grand scheme of things).

Just because it happens every where else should we put up with it? Listen to yourself your saying I'm suppose to be satisfied with terrible service because it happens everywhere.
