Reality Check

While its true the walls are fairly thin.. I wouldnt say its any worse then most apartments I've lived in. I've lived here for over a year and have never had a issue with security, break-in's, anything being stolen, etc. The apartment is nicer then average, and although we did a walk-through when he got here.. I do got to admit it took them about 2-3 months to fix those issues we had written down. The management has been fairly nice, but then again I really havent had to many issues.
My only real complaint is the cable/internet. I personally do not like having no control over who my cable provider is (which means I cannot get High Def. cable svc) or what programming I get through my cable or the ability to get cable internet from comcast instead of the property owned cable/internet service. While its true you can get DSL, cable offers higher internet speeds, and frankly there cable internet here is slow.
The only big issue I had with them was back during the hurricane when my apartment provided cable internet was out for 3 weeks, while the management kept making excuses why it was not fixed. If you do move here.. get DSL.
While its true people do drive fast.. its no worse then any other complex I've lived in. The gate doesnt really keep people out per say.. but thats typical with any gated apartment complex (unless you have a person guarding the gate). The Guest apartment they have is about 80-85 which isnt bad for size, but the funishings are pretty bland.
