Going down hill fast - BEWARE!

I have lived at the Enclave for a while now and I am so glad that I moved out a month ago. The apartments appear to be beautiful on the inside but are actually made of poor construction.
Just like everyone has complained on here, there's little to no landscaping now, everything needs painted, trash is every where, the trash compactor breaks often, etc.
There are bee nests in about every corner now of the hallways and patios. The steps are never power washed. The hallways are so dirty you almost need boots just to walk to your door. Beer bottles are everywhere, including broken ones. You can't walk in the grass because of dog crap. The grass is never watered and is dying. There are just a few patches of dark green grass growing. The cameras to the entrance and exit hardly ever work and when they do, you can't see who is coming and going.
Th work out facility is a joke. It is big enough for five people and the pools are slightly larger than bath tubs. The areas around the pools need major cleaning too. So basically the grounds are falling apart fast because of no up keep.
The apartments! What a joke for what you pay. The walls are paper thin, the floors echo, no carpet padding, toilets that break and leak, not water pressure, and hot water runs out after one shower. The cable sucks. Most channels consist of snow and lines. Don't even think about using their Internet either. Their business center needs cleaning and the door to get in hardly ever opens properly.
Finally, I lived serveral apartment buildings away but there were people working, building, and painting cars, trucks, jeeps, and trailers every day around building 6. They would work on them up till 11PM grinding and welding. Several people complained but they were friends with two of the maintenance people so they got by with everything.
Honestly, most apartments aren't great to live in anway. So basically where ever you move to in Jacksonville there'll always be something to complain about. If you choose to live in an apartment, just don't over pay by living at The Enclave.

I haven't lived at the Enclave since July of last year, but I find your review very hard to believe as far as the actual apartment is concerned. I LOVED my apartment, and had no issues with water pressure or the carpet padding, which for the record, I know is there. Now what ING has done since I moved, I don't know. But at what point do you put the blame on the true people responsible for the landscaping, which is the jagoff residents living off mommy and daddys money that think it is OK to throw beer bottles in the lake? I mean come on, that shouldn't be part of the job, people should be responsible adults and throw their trash in the... I don't know... trash can? It's not hard, I've even seen dogs do it. |

I agree. I lived here too. It takes atleast 3 call to the office to get someone to respone to a problem, the staff is quick and rude on the phone, then another 1-2 weeks to get them to come out. They will leave letters on your door for money owed, but the letter won't say why the money is owed. Several messages have to be left to find this out, while meanwhile it goes into collections, and you have no idea why you even owe the money. The hallways are dirty, the mail boxes are dirty, and you can hear everything around you. Footsteps, music, and doors closing. A quick dirve through it seems that the apartments are nice, but once you live here you can see that they are really not.
