Rude, unprofessional and lazy management (HEROLD SNOW), inadequate parking (20 apartments, 15 spaces, you do the math), poor service staff (yeah, come fix my leaky faucett because it costs you money, but don't worry about the fact that my screen door doesn't close all the way or the apartment's interior light fixtures require special bulbs that can't be purchased at retail and my master bedroom sat in darkness for 6 days). There are constant noise disturbances from cars with loud stereo systems, gunshots (mostly from Eurkea #1), no security, which makes the drug dealing rampant, as well as constant fear of assult when walking outside late at night just to go to my car. The manager does NOTHING about complaints, and moves people in with FELONY records, which is a clear violation of HUD guidelines. He is the nephew of the regional director, which is how he got his job to begin with. Don't get me started on the nastiness of some of the people in the neighborhood (i.e. removing trash from dumpsters, smoking weed on doorsteps, people that will ask you for a puff of your cigarette when you walk down the sidewalk!). I understand this is a low-income neighborhood, but the conditions are appauling, and don't think about complaining to upper management, because they will just find a reason to not renew your lease and kick you out onto the street. For those of us that are stuck here, we have no recourse but to endure. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
