I leased here for a year and I was hoping I could get out of my lease by the time the 3 month mark. This place, when I first visited, I knew it had flaws. When I first came to look at the apartments, the pool was dirty with rocks and leaves floating in it. Also, one of the ladders in the pool was broken. I didn't mind much because I didn't swim. The 'car wash' is nothing but a part of the parking lot that they put a water hose in front of. No small garage, no high pressure hose, no nothing. The ground in front of it also looked like there were people changing their oil in the parking spaces and spilling it. The fitness center was also a joke. The machines looked like they would break as soon as you used them. Also they had a 'panic' button in the fitness cennters - there for emergencies. When I first went to go look at the apartments, once again the staff amazed me with their ignorance by not knowing if the button actually worked. It turned out the button doesn't work. I guess it was just put there for your piece of mind. Despite all this, I signed a lease here because it was cheap. Not the worst mistake of my life, but when I look at my life it was one of the biggest. The place may seem quiet when you first come there in the day. At night, people started acting like just idiots. The bass starts riding through and people will (you can count on this 80% of any weekend) sit outside and talk about how they're being shafted. Now, I will not lie and say this happened all the time, but it happened enough to the point where I felt like it was happening all the time. Now, we get to maintanence. I haven't cursed through the whole review, but I will say that these people suck. They told us up-front that they would have priorities on air conditioners. It took these ya-hoos two weeks to fix my air conditioner. The first time they stopped by, they acted as if it was my fault the thing went out. Then since they hadn't stopped back by in three days , I went to the front office to complain. This bastard acts like he's mad that he had to come back to fix it. Then, he dissappeared for the whole weekend (which I didn't really mind since I wasn't there that weekend) and some other joker stopped by Tuesday ... acting like it was a whole new problem! Like that other bastard hadn't even reported it! You can listen to me or not. But when you go to the apartments, don't be fooled by a low price. It's almost like a Kia. You just know you bought a cheap car, but when people start acting like a-holes after the sale AND the car is falling apart... that's when you get mad. I really DO NOT recommend this complex to anybody because sometimes you get less than you pay for. Just pony up the extra hundred dollars a month and go with Sail Cove or Aventine or something.
