Listed below is my FIRST rating that I left immediately following my stay at Fieldcrest. I am now going to ammend my final thoughts.

We are having an extreme headache trying to get our deposit back. The final apartment inspection was flawless... but we received a very SMALL partial refund of our deposit without reasoning. Now, attempting to find out WHY has become quite a task.

Just want to give warning.

Be nice to the management, and they will be nice to you. Cazzie was an angel... she would go through hoops for you if you are a nice person to begin with. She took care of EVERY issue for us.
Maintenance always was there in a timely fashion.
Yes, there are bugs from time to time, but if you live on the ground floor, you're going to face that reality at just about anywhere. I will say the gentlemen that came to spray for the bugs gave a very lack-luster performance though. He hit about half the rooms and said that would suffice.
I feel pretty safe. I have a wife and young child, and obviously we watch how much they go out past dark... as any family should do.
I will definitely say that the "left side" of the complex as you pass the clubhouse seems much safer/quieter. (it's the side with the townhomes as well)
Neighbors are neighbors. I've heard a ton of noise on both sides of me at various times, but it's expected... it's an apartment complex.
Management did take care of the ONE noise complaint I mentioned.
I relo every 6 months for my company, could live anywhere I want, have seen a ton of complexes... Fieldcrest is a fine place. It isn't the Ritz, but you don't expect that for the price.
