I agree with the last person about Cazzie she was awesome, but earlier this year they wiped out their staff. Now when you try to call, consider yourself lucky to get an answer. And if you do, they re very short with you. They only kept one maintenance guy; everyone else went when the property was sold to another company. I thought some work would be done to the inside of the units not one thing. Don t get me wrong. The landscaping and paint on the outside of the building is nice. It definitely needed it. They also upgraded the pitiful fitness center and redid the second pool. But the interiors of the units were not touched.
The previous post also mentioned bugs I don t agree that they will be a problem on first floors everywhere. My last apartment was not like this. At the end of the lease at Fieldcrest I was calling to have it spraed every week. Even on Thursdays when the bug man was supposed to have sprayed I would still see them crawling.
When we first moved in they were trying to tell us how great this eco-friendly carpet was because it s made from recycled plastic, and how we should feel good because they just spent a lot of money putting it in. Well, it sucks. If you drag your foot across it with you tennis shoes on, it looks like you re pulling up pile of dog hair and we don t have a dog. Ewww. There were also a bunch of places on the hard wood floor that the linoleum was actually peeling when we saw the place. We were in a pinch to move in to a place, so we made sure we would not be held responsible. Also, these people at the community laundry facility seem to think it s alright to take your clothes of the washer if you re not immediately there to switch loads and leave them on another machine. Personally, I don t like having other people handle my undergarments.

The overall experience wasn t as bad at this complex as some of my friends had at other places, but I hope I have better luck in the future elsewhere.
