I live in Villa Capri which is right next to Forest Park and owned by the same peopleand the owners are NOT slumlords! I know the owners personally since one of them is in the office everyday. They are 3 brothers who are fair and very nice. They do there best to take care of there residents and even have a full time security officer who lives on property that you can call day or night if there were ever a problem. I think the people who rate them bad people they evict to keep the good ones like me happy!! thank you GMC

I congratulate you on being on such good terms with the owners, and trust that you have been well-compensated by them for providing such a timely (and fully expected) rebuttal to my review of GMC from less than a month ago -- not to mention the rebuttals you have provided here for most of the GMC Jax Properties previously reviewed by me late last year. I regret to inform you, however, that I was not evicted by GMC -- although GMC did make a very concerted effort for fully one year straight to force me to vacate prematurely (until I discovered with the help of an attorney that GMC was doing so in order to steal from me and then promptly began to make a very concerted effort of my own to report GMC's criminal conduct to various Municipal, State & Federal Agencies). Ultimately, after all of GMC's efforts to force me to leave prematurely in an effort to steal from me, I wound up leaving fully on my own terms after 2 years -- as was always my plan, even before I signed a lease with GMC. Hence, I would also like to offer my genuine & heartfelt thanks to GMC for being the ideal stepping-stone towards my latest apartment, just as I always intended them to be -- they even went so far as to refund 60% of my deposit (2 days after my review of GMC here and more than a month late; hopefully, the 40% of my deposit that GMC kept has been worth all of the bad PR GMC has created for itself in its efforts to steal from me). As for whether or not GMC is a slumlord, I would venture to say that -- aside from the fact that most of GMC's Jax Properties reside within the only slum I know of on this side of the St. John's River (a neighborhood with at least 2 abandoned Apartment Complexes in it would have to meet my own definition of a slum) -- a Management Company whose Rental Properties are at least 50% unlicensed or unlisted ("Grandfathered" or not) qualifies for that designation about as fully as it is possible to.
