The location is the very best part of this community. Convenient walk to grocery shopping, restaurants, gym, park, small retail stores. Easy driving to anything on the Southside, including Mandarin, St. Johns Town Center, Baymeadows & Southside Blvd. area.

The next best thing is the price! Very reasonable.

It isn't fancy or modern, but I am very comfortable here (having owned my own homes in several parts of Jax for the past 30 years--Avondale, Middleburg, Mandarin). I have no concerns about safety here.

There is an on-site laundry facility and a few units have washer-dryer connections. It is an older (built in the 40's) community so the rooms are larger than in modern apartments, but electrical outlets and light switches are fewer. That said, I have had no problems with power outages or fuses blowing out.

Pest control is provided by the management. If anyone has a problem with pests, it will be addressed within a day or two. At one point, we were charged on a prorated basis for water, although we haven't been billed for a couple of months, so who knows. My electric bill has been less than $100 per month.

There is a swimming pool and a community meeting area.
