I have lived at the Glades since August.
I have had several maintainence problems.
My air conditioner has leaked coolant since I moved in.
They come when I call and add coolant.
Management has promised to fix the problem but they just continue to service the problem.
The maintainence staff is great but management wants to just put a bandaid on the problem rather take care of it.
The BIG issue is, my JEA bill is double what it should be.
JEA told me that the air conditioner looses 5% of it's cooling ability per day with a small leak.
This means after 10 days, it cost me double to cool my apartment.
Instead of repairing the air conditioner, Management told me to move if I don't like it.
Now that is a great attitude.
The next time my apartment is rented, the new resident will have the same problem.

Sounds familiar. Some communities prefer to just patch up service problems often but won't spend the cash to do the actual repairs. They prefer not to invest in their property. They just take the money and bleed out what they can. When more and more people move out, they just offer a move in special to attract new tenants. Too bad for the new tenants. Most people have NO IDEA when they rent a property.
