I lived at The Glades for over a year and had an overall pleasant experience. The pools were always nice and clean, the landscaping was always kept up. I had very few problems with maintenance and the management. Make sure that you keep up with the carpets and cleaning once you move out, though. I had to pay $500 for that after I left.

My Guess: This was written by Management. Who else would take the time to write such a silly review? I did love the part about making sure you clean the carpets prior to moving out or pay $500. RIGHT. I live here now and know that they have serious maintainence issues. The guys are great but they are only allowed to but a band-aid on serious problems including non working appliances, plumbing and air conditioning units.. Most of this stuff is original (over 20 years old) and they are reluctant to replace anything. They advertise a exercise room. It was to be refurbished last summer. It is locked up and nothing is being done. They advertise a Racquet ball court. It looks like it has been locked up for years. They continue to promote it as an amenity of the community. Seems they will say ANYTHING to rent you an appartment. Renter Beware!!

To the response: i have to lease right here and it says (for carpet cleaning):: one bedroom: $45-$350. and two bedroom: $55-$400. so he wasn't way off by that 500 amount. i guess they didn't take very good care of their carpet. and that 350 or 400 might mean they had to actually replace it. im moving out of this sh**hole in one week and I CANT WAIT.
