I have been a tenant of this place for about the past two years during my medical residency and will be moving out once my lease term ends. It was inexpensive and met my needs at the time. The term "luxury apartments" was misleading on the advertisements. Basically, you get what you pay for. The apartments are small and the buildings are old and several maintenance requests were done to bandaid fix the facilities. The previous management under Stonemark was ok, but the newest management team (AMC) was unprofessional and lacked customer service. I became very disappointed when I realized that the new staff was unwilling to help tenants as much as the old management and were plainly rude at times. I do commend the upper management of AMC (above the immediate office management) for taking initiative to correct inappropriate behavior, and things could improve in the long run.

Maintenance requests were generally slow, but the maintenance guys usually were able to fix everything adequately and were polite. I've had my AC units replaced twice, and several plumbing issues. Lighting fixtures in the facility were broken at times lending to dark areas at night, sprinkler systems were broken and sprayed sulfur-odored water all over the parking lot. Parking was adequate for the most part. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations pretty clearly if you're listening, so if you have unruly neighbors then it could be a problem. The pool area was often unkempt and dirty (probably from the neighborhood kids). Overall I would not recommend these apartments and would suggest that incoming residents highly scrutinize the facility before moving in. Just remember that you get what you pay for. If the new management can turn the facility around then it's not too bad for the price.
