I had no problems the first 1-year renting from the Glades. Problems started when they changed management. I think they may have changed management about 3 times since Ive been here which is not good. The new management is so rude and can careless about your issues. I was thinking of moving but really didn't have the time because I was getting ready to take exit exams for school. I called managements bluff to see what they would offer. They offered $100 off first months rent, which I was shocked by because they never offered it before. I signed the lease and paid rent minus $100 just to get a nasty note on my door stating $360 was due immediately or else I would be evicted. I'm curious to know how a $100 balance became $360. I went in and spoke with some rude lady who was speaking with someone else the entire time she spoke with me. She advised 1)$100 was the rent I did not pay. 2)$150 late fee. 3)$100 is the "new fee" they add to your balance if your account balance is over $100. 4) $10 is also a "new fee" they add because they had to put a letter on my door. I told her I signed a lease recently that gave me $100 off rent. Come to find out they never signed the lease and gave it to her. I told her the letter insulted me and she showed no empathy what so ever. I also asked for a copy of the lease that details all the ridiculous "new fees" which I have yet to receive. I signed the lease in August and it is now December. Maintenance sucks. Walls are paper thin. The apartments are so out dated and are not worth it. I can go around the corner and get a 2 bedroom for the price I m paying now. Residents are being charged for a gym that is the size of my bedroom, it has only 1 old treadmill, 1 old bicycle, and old total gym. It also has no air. I was told when moving in the gym was being refurnished and that has yet to happen. They give us the option of going to their sister companys gym down the street. The point is I m being charged for something I don't have. This may be cool for some one who does not work out but it s not ok with me. There are so many vacant apartments here and I can honestly see why. I've only lived in 1 other apartment since I've been on my own and I must say this is the worst. Words of wisdom...Please don't move in. It's just not worth it.

This person is right on point with The Glades. I have also lived here for a year and a half. First year was great, very nice office staff. Now they are rude! I have also gotten letters on my door that say I am late and have all these extra fees that no one can explain to me or show me where I was agreeing to these. I think they hope people will pay it with out disputing it. The only reason I like it here is because I have only a couple of neighbors due to the fact there are so many empty apartments.
