Renting here has been an unpleasant experience. First, when I arrived the apt was not cleaned and there was still food in all cabinets. The fitness center was NEVER cleaned for the first 6 months even though myself and several other residents requested it and complained- mgmt would say it was done but never was-quite disgusting. A sewage treatment plant is behind the apts that is never mentioned. When moving in and asking what the horrible smell was we were told it was the well water for the sprinkler system. There is only one trash compactor for 400 apts.-certainly not enough and the trash is always out in the parking lot. They do not pest control even when they say they do. Basically dealing with mgmt and any maintenance requests is like pulling teeth-Usually takes 3 months to have anything taken care of. The maintenance staff is great-just WAY understaffed! Our refrigerator sucks and leaks rust and they will not fix it. It is extremely old, but I was told there were all new appliances in the apt. The buildings are falling apart. There are missing boards & soffits, rotting steps, etc. The squirrels live in the walls. The washer drains out the side of the building between the clapboard & wall. The washer cannot be put against the wall do to an awful fix of a previous leak. The landscaping is the worst I have ever seen. I can't believe they pay these people! The pool cleaning isn't much better. Mgmt is extremely difficult to deal with and just lies without showing much results. Alarm system doesn't work.
