Green Tree Place Apartments

Stinks (literally sometimes) -- Get me out of here!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/7/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Green Tree looks like a cute little complex, but those looks are so deceiving. Upon move-in, I had no working hot water and a broken oven. In the very short time that I have lived here, I have had multiple leaks (both rain and plumbing). The front office staff has been annoying to work with. Customer Service is something seriously lacking here...especially from one particular individual that has a serious attitude problem. Their maintenance philosophy is "open-door." Meaning, if you report a problem, who knows when they might show up...they give you no time frame. They might come the next day or a week later. It is a real invasion of privacy and hassle. I have NEVER lived in an apartment that operated like that...I've always been given a time in which to expect maintenance to enter my unit. Frankly, it is creepy. They also lost the key to my apartment TWICE and had to make copies of mine. Once again, CREEPY. Also, they have had 2 apartment inspections (for the entire complex) in the 4 months I have lived here to do "appliance inventory." Can you say PAIN IN THE BUTT' Which leads me to believe they disorganized in their record-keeping. The 2 pools are kept in so-so shape. The back pool doesn't have a working light, and the front pool's jacuzzi has never heated up. There is some kind of treatment plant next door, so about once a month the entire complex smells like rotten eggs. The fitness center is not secured...the card keys on the door have never worked, so kids run in and out of there...very dangerous. Plus, since anyone off the street can walk in it is an unsafe feeling working out alone. I won't go into the unit above me that has about 5 people in a one bedroom (really, it is like 6 people if I count the large dog)...I can't really blame management for this, but it is noisy. The pathways flood everytime it rains. Maintenance and the front office ride their golf carts all through the landscaping which kills the grass and kicks mud up everywhere. It is a big problem and lack of respect for the tenants. I am trapped by a lease here. As soon as my prison term is up I am OUT OF HERE!!! g-hKOS7s4Nq5n3hEIpHd
