I didn't have many problems at first. But then they did the re-pipe. I understand that older buildings often need to be renovated, but shouldn't they wait to do demolition when the apartment is un-occupied'! The contract workers who re-piped our apartment were unprofessional and did shabby work. We were told the process would take 1-2 weeks, but it took almost 2 months!! They left our apt door WIDE open when no one was working in the apt...they didn't tarp our furniture when they jack-hammered in our living room...we had to stay in a hotel for three nights b/c our apt was literally left in an un-livable...it was awful. I had to board my cat for the duration of the re-pipe and they took no financial responsibility for it. I felt taken advantage of and cheated.

Besides the re-pipe, they seem to ALWAYS need access into my apt. Sometimes they don't even give a warning, they just stop by. Once, a maintence man entered my apt while I was getting out of the shower. He said he was coming in to fix a work order; one that I canceled the week before because no one ever came.

The staff is rude and answer the phone like they're being taken away from more important work. They need to seriously re-vamp they're customer service staff. There have been days that I couldn't get in touch with the office by phone. I think they were screening my calls.

If you have a maitnance problem, you better make it sound serious; Otherwise they will never come.
