I've lived here for a few years and I like Green Tree Place decently enough but I have a few warnings for potential tennants:

1. Be careful about the office staff, they are all smiles when you are signing the lease but they will find reasons to get in your house with about 8 hours notice (and pretend they gave you 24) and will nickel and dime you to death when you move out. An example of this is the fact that within about a year they changed the method for water billing twice and made their residents pick up the bill for the change fees with the billing company.

2. If you have any maintenance problems, get someone on it early, the whole nickel and diming thing applies to their maintenance. They spend the absolute least possible and get what they pay for in the way they maintain their buildings. This was evident when they had the rooves of their buildings replaced and hired a company who didn't pick up the nails that littered the sidewalks and in the generally mediocre condition of the insides of the apartments. (i.e. ancient windows, toilets constantly breaking, counters that have been refinished way too many times, etc.)

3. Don't expect a lot of the ammenities they advertise, they genrally welch on them. Since I have been there, they have stopped providing a dumpster for larger items (and not decreased trash rates), stopped individually billing for water (and passed on the expense of changing the billing types AND the cost of watering the grounds directly to tennants) and removed security systems in what can be best described as a inconsistent and shoddy manner.

All of this said, its a decent area of town if you can deal with their nonsense.
