This is by far the worst apartment community I have ever lived in. No one seems to care about anything.
When I moved in my apartment was not ready. They could not even find a key to the door. Turns out that management NEVER had my apartment or mailbox rekeyed which resulted in my mail being stolen, which included my new checkcards and pin numbers. I found it strange that for a week and a half I was not receiving any mail.
Well, soon I realized that my bank account had been emptied. Thankfully my bank took care of it. Afterwards, I had several maintanence problems with the bathrooms, a/c and the place was roach-infested. I've had to bring in my own pest control and the problem still remains. It is disgusting. The apt complex was sold recently to another management company and they seem to be just as incompetent or even more so than the staff that was previously there. Approximately 3 weeks ago, someone (who I have strong reason to believe is a tenant here) busted my master bedroom window, broke in, went through all of our stuff, closets, drawers, etc and stole some electronics from my home. These people are so good at being criminals that they did not even leave fingerprints anywhere. The cops could not do a thing. A few days later my husband heard a group of "hoodlums" [by the way, that's what the majority of the tenants fall under...exceptions are far and few between] talking about a playstation they were selling for $50. Yes that's one of the items that was stolen....They live 2 doors down! Obviously, they knew what times we are not home.
Now, having a toddler I feel unsafe living in this dump. When I approached management, they simply stated that they would not let me out of the lease because there was not documentation in my file stating any of this. RIGHT! Likely story...conviniently enough, everything has disappeared. So if you are looking into this community, save yourself the grief and go somewhere else. I know I will. The day my lease is up will be the happiest day of my life!
