I tolerated living there for a few years so that I can save $ for a home. There are tons of unsupervised brats running around. I moved this year in Aug b/c one of those kids busted 1 of the bedroom windows in my apt. The so called cctv cams on the property are never on. Last year some of the kids tried to burn the place down. The units have a waterbug problem b/c the wood beneath the sink in the kitchen & bathroom vanity have rotted.Other residents have complained of this same issue. The new manager (lisa) will not clean your carpet upon signing a new lease, she is not professional, i have witnessed her cursing at children on the property and openly arguing with adults in the parking lot. JSO even hates this place, unfortunately, they are called out there at least once a week. I advise anyone to go month to month if you must live there. The appliances are outdated and the cabinets need to be trashed. Those units need to be gutted out completely. I stayed indoors b/c 90% of the residents are low class, trailor park trash, greasy spoon immigrants, & ghetto hoodrats. Past residents that have gotten evicted, come back to visit their Section 8 buddies and party on the front lawn all weekend. It is disguisting. Maintenance sucks, they do just enough to get by and wont replace worn parts. There are snakes all over the property. They will greet you on your patio or at your front door. This has been reported to the manager. She said there is nothing she can do. Maintenance will not come to take care of the reptile problem either. The wiring in the units are bad also, a lot of outlets will not ever work. There are no amenities. The pool and picnic area is a joke and a watering hole for the thugs who are not on anyone's lease. With all that said, choose wisely before signing your lease and read everything and visit the property day and night before deciding to move. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C

Hell yea!!!! I agree with you!! that place is straight up TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lived there also! And that Lisa bit*h?!?! Hahaha. we won't go there about her!! I 've seen here yell and curse..she's a bad role model and mother because if she does that to kids there?? What makes you think she doesn't do it to her own!!! I agree with this 110%!

I have driven through this property a couple of times whenever my lease comes up for newual and I think I can find a better deal from where I am currently living. I have never spoken to the manager - I usually drive by after WORK - which is apparently something that the people who live here do not do. OMG - What a carp hole...I have never seen so many people outside drinking and smoking in their wife beaters and adidas shorts hanging down to their ankles. Children run around at 10 and 11 o'clock at nite - SMALL children! People bring there chairs outside so they can sit and drink and talk. Its so much like the project from the movie CandyMan that I want to say his name and then see which house he comes running out of.....DO NOT LIVE HERE - Especially if you are not fully black - I got such nasty looks driving through the area and someone actaully yelled that I needed to take my coffee ass back to my own neighborhood.....

Hey,I think that some of you are being very cruel, I just want to let you negative people know that I have lived here since June and it is quiet, I have come home at night, and have seen a few people outside, and if people see a problem the best thing for them to do is get with mgmnt, I think that if we all try to take care of our apts and kids that things will be o.k. As for as the carpet, people should take pride in where they live, there is an old saying if you are not part of the solution you that complain are part of the problem.I like my place and carpet cleaning only costs a few bucks, use your time to help not hurt other people. so anybody that has anything negative to say should look in there own mirror and see what you can do to make things better....

CRUEL???? CONTACT MANAGEMENT...Wow, you are naive!! Contact mananagement and your window will get shot out or rocks thrown through them...The carpet was the least of my worries there....Mine was my baby almost had a bullet through his skull...WE ARE CRUEL?????? No sweetheart, you just haven't experience the luxorious living of Hillwood Point yet, my dear!!! Due time...Looking in the mirror at my new place is wonderful... It looks a lot brighter over here and there isn't all the drugs, thugs and bullet holes!!! Oh and the trash talking kids, well my children are far better than that and actually have decent kids to play with, not ones that use N word, B or F that in every other sentence. Those young ones most certainly don't watch Sesame Street....Good Luck with your new home!! Hope you will be happy there and it sounds like you will fit in wonderfully.

In response to username heitzhiger who left comment 9/27/07. I gave your comment a thumbs down. The name of this site is apartment ratings and that is what we are here to do. rate the apartment. So if the property was up to par then it wouldn't have a big ass 20% rating on the front page. These are not just our opinions, these are things that present and past tenants have experienced while residing there. Have you not read the previous comments? When there were problems being reported, the issues were not resolved or poorly handled! People should pay to keep their carpets cleaned, but the leasing office should provide that service annually if the lease is renewed. Those of us that complained were not part of the problem, we got tired of the reoccuring problems and none of the so called rules being enforced. By the way...I looked in my mirror and said I am so glad I used apartmentratings.com to find a way better place to live. EFF YOU HILLWOOD AND ALL THE NON AMBITIOUS LOSERS THAT ARE CONTENT LIVING IN THAT TRAILER PARK COMPOUND THAT DOUBLES AS AN APARTMENT COMPLEX. KICK ROCKS -------!!!!
