Poor Transition

I was VP of HH's Tenants Association in 1999, and succeeded to President the end of that year.

Formerly this location was managed by Carey Gee and his staff. After living there over two years, I'd gotten a job that finally was maxxing me out on the HUD rent, and it was time to go.

In the process of moving out after giving a month's notice, the staff removed items from our home wrongfully. When this was found, they then returned SOME of them from the dumpster, along with crabshells and diapers from the trash. Many things were lost of personal value.

Their office tagged us with costs and a month of rent on HUD. The local office of Legal Aid has corresponded with them TWICE and gotten nowhere, due to them playing the run around.

If you can afford to lose out on almost a thousand dollars lost when you move, feel safe with them. If you like you're money...and your personal items...take pictures.

My families moving into another apartment complex after having to pay off this operation...they were real jerks, but when they got the money...oh...they actually had the nerve to give my wife an application.

Don't take my word for it...or hers. Go there on a Friday and Saturday night after 10:30 pm. It's a HUD complex with single black females and their kids...with whoever's the boyfriend this week half the time.

I grew up in hollybrook and i disagree with the comment made. its not that bad. when people hear HOLLYBROOK they think of how it was maybe 10 years ago. yes its noisy but kids play and if you cant tolerate noise....go to and old folks home somewhere. yes some are single parents and i applaud my mother everyday day, and finally for everyone who stereotype everything about this complex......the neighborhood dont make u, its starts at home. my mother never tolerated foolishness, and for that i am 20, in school, w/o child and loving my neighborhood so for the ignorant comment.....kick rocks!!!
