I had to change my rating. I will not go into detal like I did before about this place. I was angry and I apologize but do not regret what I said before. Those who read it befor know what it said. This place obviously does not have Christians working here or they wouldn't be so judgemental. Nobody is perfect and Gods know that we have our quirks..nobody broke the law in my apartment and nobody got hurt...if you don't have the patients to deal with someone that is not the same as you then that is your own fault. I try to do the best I can each and every day for myself and my family, I suggest that everyone that reads this do the same. Have patience and GET GOD in your life. I suppose that's why I am always going through difficult times because I am always close to GOD. I never had any problem with my neighbors downstairs, regardless of what we did or did not do. They were always kind and courtious to me no matter what. Count your blessing that and be thankful that you and the people you live near have a roof over their head. That's all I can say.. Can't wait to move to a much better place where they know people are less than perfect like this place expects you to be. I am a bible believing babtist and if you judge me then look in the mirror and judge your self before you judge me. We are all GOD'S children right or wrong.

I felt the need to comment on this review. I have lived in the apartments for 10 years. I have never experienced anything negative with the ladies in the office or with the maintenance staff. In fact, they have done everything to make my life easier. I am a single mom so comment above stating that they discriminate against single mothers is absolutely absurd! I also want to comment that there are always 2 sides to every story. I live in an apartment near the playground in which this person is speaking of and I remember the night of the birthday party in which there were several girls outside after 10 at night. The girls and the boys they were hanging out with woke me up at 2:00 am. So I am not surprised that they received complaints.
The apartment complex is quiet at night (which it should be). During the day the kids are all out "being kids." The neighborhood is quiet without a lot of disturbance and that is one of the reasons I moved into the apartments in the first place. My apartment was recently renovated and the staff and contractors did an excellent job.
As to the comment on the A/C's spitting out "black stuff", I have lived in 5 different apartments here over the last 10 years and I have never had anything spit out of an A/C unit and I am an allergy sufferer. So I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone. It is very nice and very safe.

I agree 100% with what this lady says!!! I had my apt. broken into once and they wouldnt fix anything, I had to scream to have someone to even come over. My shower was infested with Bull ants and one day my shower collapsed and it took a week for them to even start fixing it while my bathroom was not able to be used. I never saw any kids in the neighborhood... ever. Now, im a young college student who works full time and spends my spare time vollunteering... the apartment complex said i threw cigarette buts all over, the funny part is im not a smoker!!! Speaking of the air conditioner, mine would only work when it wanted too.
THe lady who says she has lived their 10 years... im guessing you are old and boring and your kids must stay inside all day. WHen i was in elementary school I lived in Hunters was in building 140 and I remember NOBODY ever went to the playground becuase all the people living in the building would FLIP OUT!!!
I will say the recent renovations were great, i moved out right after they were completed. but the renovations were LONG over due, and the constuction workers turned my air conditioner WAY low, while I was at work and school all day and when I came home my air conditioner was down to 60 degrees everyday they were there.
I only lived their a year and left as fast as I came. The management is only nice as long as your on their good side. As having lived there a decade ago and then now, I see how rude their staff can be. As long as your boring and dont make noise you will like the area.

i seriously didnt come here for a bible lesson......i have lived here almost a year now and everything is absolutely wonderful, i agree with the 10 year veteran. no problems whatsoever. once in a while there will be some fireworks at night (like super bowl night) but its just people having a bit of fun, if it goes on too long though, or too late, i would def. complain. as for the person who said that they had their apt broken into.......i really cannot believe any of your story, it sounds like you must be talking about another complex. you're a college graduate? obviously you had no classes for english composition and grammar. as for your last sentence "as long as you are boring and dont make noise you will like the area" if you want to make noise, live in a trailer in the middle of nowhere or either move to the northside or move to woods of mandarin (a.k.a. Hoods of mandarin, a.k.a. little mexico) im sure they wouldnt mind if you made noise there. we're just a little more grown up in this complex and we respect other people's right to live in a quiet neighborhood. grow up or shut up.

Wow..I moved away from this place and there is actually life where I live and nobody complains about anyone...yes there is noise..but daily living noise...so what...at Hunters Way...life..what is that. And I actually moved to a much nice apartment complex..no crime..no "hoodlums" and yes it is an Mandarin and no it is not on Sunmbeam road nor is it a Income Limited apartment complex. Hunters Way is just overcome by Retiree's which is fine nothing against them at all..but jeese let people live!!!

Ilived there for six years and I think the ladies in the office have to much time on there hands,because they worry to much about who should not be in someones apt.And what cars belong or not.come on do your work in your office and as long as people are good leave them alone .you girls need to leave people alone.Focus on all your known pot smokers and get them out.and take care of whats eating all your buildings.this place looks like hud housing on the outside.Even the people who work and live here keep there places in bad shape.wonder what the city would think appon seeing these things.And as for the rehab my place has had leeks in kitchen and baths.Not to mention the things that were taken from homes during this time,in which the ladies in the office did nothing about.They had lots of bad people working in this rehab.I new of two talking about there felony arrests,and the fights that broke out in peoples apts.Why did nothing happen for this?They keep on letting theguys do the work.And the main man running the show kept hitting on me,trying to get me in the sack.I moved out during the rehab cause the people doing the work were very untrusting.And the apts.allowed this to go on for months.How could they do this to people ,and familys.Looks like they really don't make safty a #1 thing.

I hear if you have under drinking age children this is not the home for you!!!!!!!!! The manager there buys alcohol and allowes them to use her home to drink it.As some make think this is cool it is not.I just found thie out and will be going to a higer level with this problem.
