I have just moved (reluctantly) from the Hurley Manor Apartments in Jacksonville, Florida, in order to help out with my grandchildren in Indiana. I truly could have remained there forever! As a Senior Community, Hurley Manor is reputed to be one of the best places to live in Jacksonville, and steady streams of people move from the North, to retire there in Florida. The buildings and landscape of the grounds are beautifully maintained by staff. I lived in Building Two, which contained an interior courtyard, filled with palm trees and tropical plants. The Service Coordinator is professionally, and nationally recognized for her program offerings to the residents. The Activities Coordinator has an excellent calender of events, with which many residents plan their day. The Housekeeping worker is a delight. Hurley Manor Apartments provide clean, safe, secure, quiet, and handicapped-accessible living.
