My 87-year old mother has lived at Hurley Manor for thirteen years. At first, she was able to help some of the older residents with their minor needs and errands. Now she is less mobile and needs some ocassional help. The friendly staff and a few residents check on her physical condition each morning....and are very helpful to her. Her over all experience at Hurley Manor has enabled my mother to continue living independently for the last three or four years. She has been assured that she has her choice of three family members to live with whenever she cannot live alone. However, she wishes to remain at Hurley Manor. In fact, it is difficult to get her to visit with family members for more than three or four days at a time since she becomes anxious to return to her "home".
Obviously, she and I are happy with the quality of life at Hurley Manor. The dollar cost factor is very favorable.
