Everything was wonderful at Island Pointe, until water began to run down the walls. After several calls to maintenace they finally came out to tell us that nothing was wrong, despite the fact that the walls were so damp our hand went through one and mold was growing on four walls. It took several more calls, an attorney, and an independant mold inspector to finally get th probelm "fixed". The maintence crew replaced a wall and painted over all the other spots. The stink of the mold was so bad that it forced us to "evacuate" the apartment and live in a hotel. The management never called to tell us what was going on and didn't notify us of any visitors in the unit. Apparantly, many strangers were in there doing god knows what. We broke our lease due to uninhabitable conditions. RENTER BEWARE! If you are offered 512, don't take it, it is FULL of mold!
So, if you like being talked down to, insulted, and being just plain pushed around, then move to Island Pointe... the view is great! (The Asst. Manager is cool though, everyone else is NOT).
