I just moved in to the Kensley apartments about 4 monthes ago. I have an apartment on the 1st floor and can literally hear every single step the person living above me takes. It's really tough to even relax. If you're in to having a nice quiet place to call home this isn't it. There are much better options out there for a lower price. i figured because these apartments are more expensive that the construction would be better but I was sorely mistaken. Also, the gate never works either. Just a word of warning, don't be fooled by the nice outside appearance, these apartments are cheaply made with very thin walls.

i can hear the people above us too! i swear it sounds like they're always dropping stuff up there! and i can also hear everytime they run their garbage disposal. the gate sucks. the first night we were here, it didn't work! we have a garage on our apt, so that's a plus, but i mean, 1000 a month??? for this??? come on. it's right next to a trailer park. and our neighbor told us that people are always trying to break in. yeah, they have a big fence, but, they make ladders, ya know. our lease isn't up until next july, but i honestly don't think we'll be here the whole time. it's not worth the money.
