This was actually a nice, quiet, decent place when I moved in this past February. Apparently, there has been a change in management in the last 6-8 weeks. I had a simple request which, 3 months ago for the same request, had maintenance at my apartment in less than 15 minutes. Now I can't even get a call-back.

And now, laundry and fitness centers are only open 9am-9pm. To entice me to renew my lease, they left a flyer on my porch offering to only jack my rent $20/month if I signed a year lease. They actually went on to say if I didn't sign a lease I would have to pay the inflated difference ($50/month) retroactive from JULY! I'd like to see how they plan to pursue that, since I turned in my notice this afternoon stating that I'm paying only the current rate plus my pro-rated amount for November. Oh yeah, and the notice also added that they couldn't jack the rent without 30 days notice.

So, who wants a choice corner apartment in one of Jax' newest ghettoes'
