We rented an apartment here for a year and a half. We moved in February 1996 and our lease was up In Feb. 1997. My husband was due to be discharged from the Navy in June 1997. We told them this and they said that would be fine because we had a military clause in our lease. We signed the lease to be able to continue to live there and gave our 30 day notice in May 1997. They stated to us that we were in a lease. I told them we had discussed this prior to signing and they said we had a military clause. After we moved, we found out that they had put us on a rental report that landlords check and also on our credit report. We have since tried to fight them to no avail. DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU ARE MILITARY! They will mess you over!!!!
