I agree, except for Hope, the manager, the rest of the office staff is rude and inconsiderate. Our neighbor placed several "false" complaints against us and even though they were not in any way true, we were asked to leave. I had lived there for 2 years and never had any issues until these neighbors moved in (2 months prior to me being asked to leave). Children are unwelcome here. I was dating a man with children and they would come over but they couldn't even so much as put their feet on my floor, let alone be outside to play. Lake Gray made it known that children were not wanted outside or to move around in the apartment in any shape/form/fashion. I was told I was walking my dog without a leash, but that was not true as our dog is old and not friendly w/strangers so I always made it a point for her to be on aleash. in fact, it was one of their employees walking their dog w/o a leash. another complaint was that we were on our patio talking (although it was at a normal conversational level), the neighbors didn't like it so they asked us to leave. It's worth the money to buy a washer and dryer and move somewhere else! Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7

Oh come on. I live at Lake gray and there are plenty of children out playing. The staff live here and have children of their own. I have a dog and there is a leash rule. It is for the safety of the residences. Finding another apartment like this around Jacksonville is not likely. The place is safe and well kept. I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

your happy living there yet you post an 'anonymous' post... hmmm... must be an office staff member. ???? I am very aware of the leash law in effect everywhere. i can guarantee you, MY dog was NEVER walked without a leash. Yes, the staff do live there, I guess they do not have to follow the rules? As I witnessed for myself one of THEM walking their dog without a leash? and yes, i have found an apartment to live in way better than lake gray. it is not dusty, my a/c doesn't freeze up once a week and they are well built so that I don't even hear my neighbors upstairs! Lake Gray has paper thin floors and walls and you can hear everything. They are CHEAPLY made yet they charge the max rent. As for children, my stepkids are now allowed to play within our current apartment as well as outside without people getting their panties in a wad. I paid my rent at Lake Gray just like the next person, I should have been allowed to "live", not make sure everyone is quiet 24/7.
