Before we moved here a year ago, I read all the reviews on here but figured they were exagerating. The staff seemed nice and the place looked ok to me. We have had nothing but trouble since we moved in. The place is infested with silverfish. The mold is terrrible. We had a pipe burst and it turned our downstairs neighbors home into a lake. The office refused to call a plumber when the maintenence guy told them several times he didn't know how to fix it. Finally at 8 pm that night they called a plumber. The poor maintenence guys are always overworked. We were told by the apt manager there are 4 guys and over 400 units. She said they are not understaffed. I beg to differ. The final straw for us was when I called about a leaky ceiling around 4pm on a Thrusday. As usual they said someone would be right out but they never showed. So around 4:30 am Friday morning a 5 foot portion of ceiling in our bedroom came crashing down. There was wet insulation, sheet rock, and mold everywhere. It was really disgusting not to mention scary. If me or my boyfriend had been standingthere we would have been seriously hurt. We went to talk to the apt manager the next day and she literally told us "These things happen, this could have happened if you were buying a house" She also said..."Im sorry you had a bad experience." Needless to say we were furious. They patched the hole but we were just fed up at this point. Whatever corporation that actually owns lakeside apts let us out of our lease a month early. Please please dont move here. Its way over priced and not to mention a health hazzard.
