Pleasant Place to Live

I moved across country for a short-term job in Jacksonville. I found LV online through Rent.com and was impressed with what I saw. I had contacted Melinda in the office and she was extremely helpful and friendly.
The apartment I rent is a 1b/1b 2nd floor unit and it is very spacious. All the balconies overlook the lush courtyard and pristine pool. THe outside of the complex all around is not as attractive as the courtyard, but it is presentable.
As far as the quality of the unit, aside from the upgrades (countertops, newer refridgerator, cabinets) once could suspect have had much turn-over. Despite the numerous coats of paint on the walls and doors (sometimes the doors/cabinet sticks because of it) and the fact that my unit does not have a coat closet or dishwashwer like some other 1-bedroom units, it is a nice place to come home to.
Melinda, in the office, is a gem. She has been so friendly and helpful. Always a smile when you go into the office. Maintenance is very prompt. I have had to call twice for minor issues and each time they were there the same day I called! People are generally friendly (I have met most of my neighbors on my floor). I find the units fairly quiet and have never heard any excessive noise between apartments with the exception of a neighbors' exterior door closing harshly.
I would recommend LV to anyone who would like a quiet place to live between San Marco area and Mandarin.
