Leigh Meadows is not a bad place to live. I have read all of the previous reviews. It is quite obvious that most of these reviews were typed by extremely uneducated people. Some of the reviews complained about bugs. If you keep your apartment clean you won't have them! If there truly is a problem the office always sends pest control out immediately. There were also complaints about children. It is true that they can be noisy at times but that is how children are. Most of them are really great if you take the time to speak to them. Quite a few of them need more adult supervision for their own safety but other than that they are harmless. If you don't like children try moving to a nursing home! There were also complaints about guns and drugs. The apartment complex does not rent to tenants that have police records with charges related to drugs or guns. The people that do these things are the friends and/or significant others of residents that come to visit or "stay for a little while." Do you really think they would rent to convicts' Not hardly.

The manager, office staff, and maintenance are wonderful. They are very pleasant and always respond to resident needs in a timely manner. Most of the work orders that we have called in are taken care of on the same day! The staff truly takes the time to know the residents and treat them like family. Most places treat their tenants like someone they have to deal with. The staff at Leigh Meadows look forward to working with you and it shows! Since new management has taken over the crime in the area has decreased tremendously! They are doing everything possible to make this community safer. They have changed lighting and even hired police officers to watch the property at night. I have never seen a property that works so hard on keeping the grounds kept up. The grounds keeper picks up trash all day long! The children in the area need to learn to put the trash in the trash cans provided instead of throwing it on the ground! The housekeeping is exceptional! I have never seen an aparment so clean. I always clean my own apartment before moving in but there was minimal effort because it was already clean! All apartments have problems at times but if you speak up and voice your complaints/concerns they try to resolve the matter as quickly as possible. They can't be liable for something they don't know about. Keep up the great work Leigh Meadows!!!
