It's been a while since I lived at Leigh Meadows (2005-2008), but I did love it for the most part when I did live there.
Positives: 1. Friendly office staff, especially LISA!!! I don't know if she is still there, but she was great! They also helped me to get into a job assistance program, so I could provide better for my family. 2. Close to the parks, only a mile or two away from Burnett Park. 3. Pool - I really liked the deck and pool area, and thought the built in wet bar was especially nice. 4. I LOVED the layout of my apartment - it was more angular than most other apartments that are boxy. My friends and boyfriend really liked it, too! 5. This might sound silly, but I really liked the outdoor storage by the front door - when I moved out I expected there to be bugs and spiders in there, but there weren't!
Negatives: 1. Not really any if you re a good person. No matter what has happened there those people caused there own problems in their own lives.
Neutral or N/A: I don't remember having any problems with maintenance or parking.
Overall, after visiting friends in several other apartments in the area, I found Leigh Meadows to be the best in the area!

Well whom ever posted this CRAZY review / response must have too much time on there hands during to day to surf the Internet all day. And you are very wrong about me being on a Government program!! If I was an OBama fan or freak you could try to make that a standing point, but I go to work every day as does my husband, so if your on a program don't hate on me because 1. I pay for you to live or eat 2. Since I lived there and I was given the chance to benefit from PAYING MY FULL RENT ON TIME FOR TWO YEARS!!! YES 2 YEARS, and got to use the Home Purchase Program, YES they paid some of my down payment on my 2250 SQ FT HOUSE. Play your cards and stay off the Internet during working hours, don't hate because I thought the place was great!!

Your obviously are not used to anything or come from much. Office staff (LISA) not friendly...PREJUDICE, STRINGY HEADED BOX SHAPE BEECHHHH!!!! Regarding the Negatives...plenty of GOOD PEOPLE stay there and have resided there in the past...however, how would you know if they caused their own problems. More than likely you are on government assistance of some kind..food stamps...housing, AND receive assistance for your babies. Freakin idiot. It is a zoo out there...anyone smart that lives there..will move ASAP!

I am not a resident or an employee but I have been around since late 2008 with an organization that trys to help others in need. Whether that need is mentoring to the children, assisting some with food near the end of the month to carry them forward, or providing clothing or a hand to hold with some prayer. Looking beyond the Resident human element where some people do not respect others... you see the opposite in the staff. They are caring individuals trying to work with the residents to create a community that respects each other and will want to work to create a better environment for the families who live there.
