I have not leaved here long at all and I hate it. It's not safe. The noise is is so loud that I have to place my child in my room just so they can sleep at night. Both of our gates are broke but we are paying gated community prices for nasty apartments that aren't even being garded. The police is out here just about every single night and when you let the office know about it all they say is " call the police there is nothing we can do about it if they don't report problems to the office." What's so crazy is we as Black people say lets stick together because the white man don't care about us but if we look closer we will see that it's our own people who get in these high positions and have houses and nice cars to drive but will forget where they come from in a heart beat. But, God... Has a way of showing up in the nick of time. I am not worried I know that this too shall pass. But I still would not recommend anyone to move here. It's not right the way they do things by us here. They just throw there hands up at us as if we're saying nothing to them at all. As long as they are being paid they don't care. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. You reap what you sow.

You are so right! the office is so ghetto! Tina with those eyes brows drawn, looks like death walking. The manager with her Fat Ass does not do anything but sit in her office and tell others what to do. And when she does comes out she is always eating, as if she does not already have a B.M.W. (Body Made Wrong)... The only one in there with some type of since is Ms.Laws, at least she trys to help you the best way she knows how.And Maintenance well there is no need to even go there! Hell, Please don't move here, unless you will like to live among Fat Albert sister and the Walking Dead.... FYI. Tina Brown eye liner will look better than that black, and tell Fat Albert sister Alberta loose the hair piece..

If you feel so bad about living here at Lenox Court you can always move. No one is holding you hostage here. I do sincerly hate that you feel like you must live this way. You go on apartment rating to say all of your problems instead of coming to us and voicing your concerns. You made the comment that we forgot where we come from once we get in high positions. Not everyone come from poor families so you as a an individual who did come from those conditions, speak for yourself! And yes you do reap what you sow so what do you think is coming to you from so call judging me. If you stop listening to the residents about their personal opinions about the staff and come open your mouth maybe you wont feel this way. Residents sit and watch things so on and expect for us to call the police when you see whats going on is tooooo afraid to call JSO because the person will know you called and gets upset when we dont call for you. Why should we call when we dont have a clue on whats going on but the information we received second hand. And yes the police department has told us "The staff" not to call them if we dont see it for ourselves to have the residents to call. No matter how much you feel like we should protect you as a resident WE ARE NOT THE POLICE! I do understand what you as a resident go through because I did live in an apartment once. But you have to stop blaming the staff for what we cant control. This happens everywhere not just at Lenox Court. Have a blessed and I will keep you all in my prayers. Lenox Court Apartments are one of the worst places to live. In comparison....Flag Street Apartments,Cleveland Arms, Eureka Gardens, Just to name a few. Don't let the cover of this book titled "Lenox Court" fool you. I assure you that you don't want to view what's inside. If you value your life and the life of your children. "DON'T MOVE IN THIS PLACE"

I came on this website to view the ratings for this apartment complex because I was interested. It is too much drama going on in the area. I have much respect for Ms. Tina Thomas response. You are right you are not the police, and I respect you for remaining professional with your response; However I hope you are doing your best to help your tenants with situations you can resolve. For Ms BEAUTY08 " BE 21 about yours??? That is so childish and Ghetto. You shouldnt stoop that low as the person who wrote the anonymous response on 05/09/2007. What does a persons looks have to do with an apartment review.

I also came on here looking at the ratings of some places. This is sad not only because the property manager is obviously not doing their job but because the tenants are not doing theirs either. It has become clear to me that I do not want to live here. To much drama, to much of the blame game and not enough people wanting to accept responsibility for their own actions and decisions or lack thereof. Good luck to all of you because it sounds like you all need it. I was also truly disappointed to see someone make it a "black" thing. Gimmie a break, you are what you make yourself!

I disagree with your response Its the tenants that make the apartments not the management even though all the manager does is sit in her office on her fat a??. You can take the people out the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out the people. Ms.Tina is a good person at least she does try to help you unlike the so called manager. She needs to take a course in people skills because she doesn't know how to even talk to people. Teach your children some home training and it would be a better community.

Goodness...I was also viewing the ratings. It's not just up the the tenants to call the police. It's up to the Staff and Management, the tenants are like guests but paying to live there, it's your duty to protect them. On the outside looking in, everything looks great and it should be that same way looking out as well. There should be 24 hr guards, and a gate that works. Your sitting dead smack in the ghetto. You need to provide!!! What are you going to say when the next child gets shot and killed? "It's not our fault we're just management, we shouldn't call anyone, because we don't value the residents lives!" You may say it takes money to do this and that.... but life is more important and valueable. Remember there are GRANTS that are out there for apartment complexes such as these. Sometimes it takes management to realize that they are leaders in communties, and most of the time when they do nothing the followers take heed and do the same thing.

I don't think you guys realize that people don't run the office 24/7. Most offices close at 5pm, so how are they gonna call the police if anything happens after 5pm? Are you gonna call them where they live and have them call police instead of calling them yourself? I also understand that safety is key, but you gotta realize that crimes happen everywhere. I know it happens more in some places than most. But seriously, it can happen anywhere at any time. You just gotta be careful. I mean you guys ask to live in a 5-star apartment, yet it's a low-income complex!! Hello???? They can only do so much. If you really want 24-hour security (which is a priveledge to have, not a right, you know), then be prepared to fork over some cash to pay the security's salary. And don't complain and say that you pay alot for rent as it is. No you don't!! I've seen prices and it's dirt cheap, so I don't know why it's okay for you guys to pay such low prices and you want everything to be perfect and pristine, and handed to you on a silver platter. Also, if it's sooooooooooo bad you know you can leave, right?? No one is holding a gun to your head and making you stay there. If it's sooooooooo bad, you can take pictures of the place, keep reports and documents, and break out of your lease legally so you won't be penalized, and don't say you can't do that because you can. So if it's sooo horrible, stop living there and get out asap. You can find another apartment if it means that "your life is in risk". Anywhere else would be better than where you live at, right? And seriously, stop complaining about the mess since most of the time it's tenants who do it. So if you wanna complain to someone, complain to the tenants to mess up the place and not management because they're not the ones who are littering the place. I can only feel for those who have put up with nasty staff and maintenance people ONLY if you didn't get nasty with them first. Their job is to help out with any issues you have going on in your unit to get fixed and the basic maintenace in the complex. Anything else should be confronted to the violators *tenants*. If you know someone who is making the place trashy, by all means report them to the office. I'm pretty sure if many reports are made about them, staff will take action.

You Know what i was really looking forward to moving here BUT,After reading about all the drama that goes on here i can't bring my child into a place that isn't safe . I pray everyone who stay here get it together because i was coming from georgia and when i came across Lenox apartments i thought this would be the place we could soon call home . BLACK PEOPLE! stop messing up wonderful places to live it's a blessing to get section 8 because alot of yall know if you didn't have it ..You'll either be Homeless or living in the PROJECTS so be happy and RESPECT eachother. BESIDES It's 2009 HELL we got a DAMN BLACK president! ha ,ha,ha
