My son attempted to rent in LENOX COURT, and had gotten approved; he went through the motions to get an apartment, and had even been given his apartment number-but for some unknown reason(s) management gave him the runaround. Their tune changed mid-way. After insisting that he did not work where he said he did, they didn't get back with him until 2 months later asking him if he wanted to reapply without paying an applicaton fee. He tried once more by filling out another application. TIME WASTED! They again turned him down... my son is a 21 year old college student with no record; he now works part time at a major shipping company as well as serving as director of a non profit organization(COALITION FOR HEALTH AND LITERACY INTERNATIONAL, INC.). His employment did change after management turned him down at first; he worked at a major bottling company before. My son has never done drugs or gotten in trouble in his life. I guess his major set back are his "dreads" and the fact that he is a "young black man". Looks like trouble hmm' Any way, I'm trying to convince him to lodge a complaint with the local BBB, or sue the complex for discrimination. If there is anyone who know the owners of this property, please post an answer...Before we attempt a suit, I would like to speak to the owners to inform them that this kind of thing happens at their complex -because I'm very sure they have no idea.

To the residents of Lenox Court; I recommend that you submit any problems, and disagreements to the Pinnacle Management rep that emailed a response to my review. In corresponding with her, I found her to be a very reasonable, and understandinding person. In all fairness, she did not have to respond to me, because this situation pertained to my son - but she went out of her way trying to come to a resolution. Although management lied to her concerning the details involed in my son's situation, I, myself wanted to bring this whole matter to litigation; in the end it was my son's decision to bring such action against the complex. He decided that it wouldn't be worth his time - even though he has all proof against them. I recommend that the residents of Lenox Court utilize the contact information for Pinnacle, and voice any concerns that you don't feel is right. Pinnacle is a nationally, well known respected brand that should be notified of any "problematic, unresolved" situations that may arise. Afterall, the residents are in essence an extention of their company (Pinnacle), and is a part of the customer service process. In order to make your community a better place to live, get involved, and speak up; management have bosses that they have to answer to as well as anyone else.

I really hope that your son do that.Lenox Court apt. think that they will get away with what they did to him. I really thinnk that is a bad experience that he went through. I hope you can tell him that. I think it is worth his time to get them for discrimination. Sometimes they said, they will do that but sometimes it not like that. I would not believe that representative until I see she doing the job right. Things always change when they say, they going to do that and they want at all. Just keep your opinion open about filing charges. I will do that/....

It's amazing reading all of this. I have requested the name, number, and/or email address to someone/anyone working in their corporate office numerous times from Tina, Twala, and Heather and the only responce I ever receive is "We're not allowed to give out that information." Like it is a TOP NOTCH SECRET. The real reason is some people don't want their boss to know what's going on so therefore they don't want you to have their contact information. I have had many ups and downs with this complex and I would not suggest that any of my friends, familiy, or associates move there. The professionalism is as low as it gets. I must admit it has improved, but representation is everything. The way you start off is the way you will be remembered so it's hard for me to let go of the numerous incidents I have had with the management and customer service in Lenox Court. What's really sad is they don't even speak sometimes when you walk into the office and I am a resident.

I don't think it was discrimination. I don't know if you have noticed but the majority of the people who live there are black, the ladies in the office are black. I just think it was pure incompetence. I have seen plenty of that as well as ignorance.
