This was my boyfriend and I's first apartment. We were coming from Eagle Harbor/Fleming Island to Jacksonville and didn't know much about the areas...Boy did we learn quick!! It was cheap and we did make a couple friends there...Unfortunately, before we moved out we discovered most of our friends were in gangs and sold drugs and were wanted by the FBI...Constant bass and stereos blasting! gunshots! We couldn't even step off of our back porch because of all the dog ---- out there!! Seriously, it was like land mines...Luckily, OUR apartment never got broken into and no one really bothered us about our race, but we saw it everyday and all of the apartments AROUND us were stripped clean. Also, in front of our door some nasty green water was constantly leaking out and it would get on our shoes and track into our house...The apartment was ghetto, but it was our first and we didn't really care about what it looked like on the inside...It was okay, in fact nothing ever broke, except the front door lock once...(unlike our extremely expensive apt now!)Anyway, it was horribly dangerous living there and I can't believe we got out without being shot or raped! We actually moved out 2 months before our lease was up and just paid 2 rents to get the hell outta there!!!

Oh and then when we did move out they kept our deposit AND charged us an additional $200 for pet damage and cleaning fees!!!!! Let me tell you-our apartment was left in better condition than the whole complex!!
