I've been living at LHB for a year now and the one and only thing that I have to complain about is when I first moved in, for about a month afterward we had a problem with roaches. Now I wouldn't classify myself as a girly girl, but when it comes to bugs I can't deal. So I had to bomb the apartment and since then I've only seen a bug maybe twice. Now for a rainy Florida 2 bugs in a year aint bad. When my dishwasher broke they fixed it the same day. When my refrigerator broke they tried to fix it and when it was still warm the next day, they gave me a brand new one right out of the box. I don't really deal with the office staff too much, but I know when I came to check out the place they were really nice (I'm not sure if they get commission but that could explain the treatment). There's no problem with parking. I was fortunate to get an apartment in the back, so I have Never had a problem with noise. The neighborhood is NOT a good one, but as long as you don't bother anyone, they won't bother you. I stay civil with my neighbors (just a "hello" when I see them). There have been a couple shootings since I started living there, but I'm from New Jersey and shootings aren't new. I picked the place because It's just about the cheapest place in Jax. I plan on lving there to save money and eventually I'll move out. I wouldn't reccommend this place for families ( I know I wouldn't want my kid living in this area) but for single people or couples who want to save a few bucks its an okay place to live.
