The security gate in the front is a fake. Anyone can come into the complex. The mailbox area is not safe. A friend of my was almost robbed at gun point. The model looks nice. The apartment size is great but do not compromise your saftey for a few extra dollors. I say run fast from this place.

i agree that the gate is a front. i think it was a waste of money that could have went to fixing the place up...they should not raise the rent just to have a rent-a-cop sit there from 8-5:30...the real danger is at night when the hoodlums from other neighborhoods come and vandalize our homes!!!

Yes, I agree that the security guard situation is not the best, being a security guard myself. I don't think they pick the best tennants to live there, either. They don't think of your safety at all. I know they are trying, but the corporation that owns Lighthouse Bay is not willing to make it a safer place. They need Security Guards at the gate between 10:00pm-07:00am. That would cut down on major safety issues. I don't blame the security guards at tbe gate, I blame the company for not providing the apporiate security.
