In all reality everyone that moved to Jacksonville, Florida from Texas, and New Orleans brought Jacksonville down to HELL. Yes, HUD/Section 8 people should not be accepted anywhere! All those kind of people take advantage of the Government and Tax Payers that actually WORK for a living! At ANY apartment complex there are those type of people that bring in the LOW LIFE's that are causing all of the crimes n Jacksonville PERIOD! And I'm not a racist whatsoever, but those that are causing all the crime...are you really liking the fact that you are giving your kind a really bad name''''' These young kids also need to get a reality check BIG TIME, and they are that way because they're PATHETIC PARENTS don't care what they do and where they go. Thats when Child services need to come in and take thier kids away! Those are the type of kids that belong in Juvenile Detention Centers!!! Apartment complex's do what they can and they can only do so much, but a lot of residents don't care about keeping thier community CLEAN, SAFE, and RESPECTFUL! TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED, thats all, and we could all live in peace and even harmony. We could all live in a better place, if you participate in doing so. People that have dogs...PICK UP YOUR MESS! I am tired of stepping in your nasty crap!!! People that have parties...DON"T DRAW ATTENTION TO YOUR SELF! Go to a freakin' club! People that have kids...BE A PARENT AND TAKE CARE OF THEM! Give them a curfew damn it! People that want when they want it...YOU LIVE IN AMERICA, YOUR NOT RICH, SO ACCEPT WHAT IS GIVEN TO YOU! People that complain about staff...WHY DON"T YOU TRY DOING THIER JOB AND SEE HOW IT FEELS TO ALWAYS GET DISRESPECTED!!!!! Thier job is very difficult, you have no idea what they go through...so give them a break! People that have ilegal occupants...STOP BEING A FUGATIVE AND PUT THEM ON YOUR LEASE!!! The majority of people that complain, are the same people that don't pay thier rent or even have something to hide!!! Think about it. If you are one of these people, then may GOD have mercy on your soul! I have live at Lighthouse Bay for 13 years, and have seen it all. I am old and wise, and know everything that goes on. Trust me, I have lived just fine at Lighthouse Bay.

I loovve when people say "I'm not a racist..." That usually means YOU ARE! "YOUR KIND?" and what kind are you? Um, the kind that is denial about being RACIST!! You cacausians (or other kind) are so funny! Let's stick with facts and not opinions!! THE FACT IS: Lighthouse Bay SUCKS as a place to live, no matter what kind you are! Its ridiculous that people, human beings should have to live they way they do. If it is obvious to tenants that the management companies and the people they employee don't care about their investment/property... you can't expect the people they hustle in by touring the "half way decent models" to give a crap once they realize they live in CRAP!!! THE STAFF DOES NOT NEED A BREAK... THEY NEED TO STEP UP!! They've been on a long break and that is so obvious by the way the community is ran!!!! You have to let people know what is acceptable and what is NOT! If they (staff) doesn't care, why should the renters? In their mind this is temporary, seriously who plans to live in apartment community for 13 years, only someone who is "old and wise" and content in ignorance and lives just fine although neighbors are shot up every other week.... You need JESUS and some goals which your racist self.... You speak of people "hiding stuff" because they don't want to add other to their lease. But what is management hiding by only painting the front of the community, by only always remodeling the office, etc??? It's the parent/management teaching the child/tenant.... what do you EXPECT? This has become a community issue from the tenants all they way up to corporate...morals and values and common sense is lacking!!!!!

I am also familiar with Lighthouse from the mid-1990s when it was run by Century 21 (my cousin lived there at the time), and the simple truth of the matter is that it was poor management which forced Lighthouse to start accepting Section 8 and that it was similarly poor management that Lighthouse was ill-prepared to make the adjustments necessary to participate in the Section 8 Program without it causing the Property to degenerate the way it has. The are many Properties throughout Jax -- in neighborhoods as affluent as Baymeadows -- that manage to participate in the Section 8 Program without degenerating into drug & crime infested slums, as Lighthouse has been doing for many years now (if you have any doubts regarding this matter, check the reviews here for Hunter's Ridge at Deerwood, as this is a Property which has accepted Section 8 for years now). The very plain truth of the matter is that there are several Public Housing Developments on the other side of the St. John's River that are better-maintained than many (if not most) Properties in Baymeadows -- including those that don't participate in the Section 8 Program. Also, it is patently clear that the COJ fully intends to ensure that Lighthouse degenerates to the point where it will indeed need to be condemned, so that it can be rebuilt into an upper-scale Complex to set the stage for making another attempt to use Lighthouse as a stepping-stone towards developing the entire area surrounding Regency Square Mall into as affluent a neighborhood as Baymeadows & Vicinity are to Avenues Mall, since the 2 Indoor Malls are pretty much the only things Jax has going for it on this side of the St. John's River. As for the implication that low-income Citizens of non-European-Descent are all "low-lifes", it never ceases to amaze me how a Race whose entire sense of being revolves around perfecting its ability to embrace impurity and reject purity -- by relentlessly developing its ability to feel that they can't ever be anything more than appearances to its absolute fullest at the expense of those Races least well-equipped to do so -- can ever find anything to make accusations against those Races over; especially if the accusations involve the discomfort of those Races with participating in a Nation created by that Race specifically to advance such a concept (or an entire world founded on the same concept through the same Race, for that matter).************************************************************ Anonymous from 7/31/09: I regret that your intellect is inadequate to keep up with my train of thought, but I don't generally alter my writing style to accommodate folk who are mentally deficient; it would make more sense to me to simply not communicate with them at all. I am also black. I was simply pointing out to LeviCT that having a white face isn't going to make a difference because 96% of black homicides are committed by other black people. I never denied the disparity in criminal punishment in our justice system. But, I was simply giving my personal experience after living at this place for years. I think it's a shame that your assumption was that I was white. I am capable of seeing the horrors that my community commits against one another. Oh, and we need a reality check. You are correct that there are more white people on government assistance than black people but that's simply because they make up a considerably larger portion of the population. Black people make up 15% of the population but they make up 35% of welfare recipients. We need to stop making excuses and start making changes. Did you know that 72% of black women gave birth out of wedlock? How are white people to blame for that? This is us. This is our fault and no one else's. These kids grow up with no father. And without 2 parents contributing financially to the household most of these children grow up in poverty. I'm sick and tired of the excuses. We are not inherently deficient simply by virtue of being black. We are perpetrating racism AGAINST OURSELVES when we settle for lowered expectations. As a community we are capable of so much greater than we are currently achieving. Read "Come On People" by Bill Cosby and Dr. Poussaint and maybe you could GET A CLUE.

It amazes how (White people) can come out with these statistics about black on black crime. Lets compare statistics. Lets go back 50 years and compare statistics between black on black crime and white crime on everybody? Y'all are the most sadistic race of people ever known to man. From the moment y'all got here. All y'all could do is take and murder. Black people don't even occupy a fourth of the countries population. So the fact that 3/4 of the people that are in jail are black certainly should make people think. That would mean that about 1 in every 4 black persons are criminals which i know to not be true. I know 10 black people right now who has never committed a crime in their lives. The majority of people on government assistance is white. Do your damn research. Don't begin to give statistics to try to prove anything about our race when all y'all know how to do is take, and manipulate, and kill, and run our country economically in the ground cause guess what....black people could not have possibly did that. GET A CLUE!!!!!!
