nice management, horrible neighbors

while the management is nice and promptly responsive to inquiries and requests, do not live here if you want peace and quite. there is a mandatory curfew for those under 18, which is good b/c there are MANY screaming kids running around. but after the sun goes down the thugs and drug dealers hang out, blasting music from there cars (it actually vibrates my windows), and making a lot of noise yelling. the apartment cleans litter regularly, but i often see drug baggies scattered around. police are also a regular occurrence, but they never seem to do anything about problems. i feel safe enough, but i workout and weigh 230 lbs. female friends have been verbally harrased and don't feel safe when they come over, especially at night. i also would advise against purchasing anything nice for your apartment, especially if anyone sees you moving it in. there's a reason why the rent is cheap here. you can get out of your lease with 60 day written notice and a 1 month rent penalty, and that's the road i'm taking. not the projects, but close.
