Magnolia Point is my second apartment here in Jacksonville. And I must say it's an "interesting" place. The office staff are in general very nice BUT have more of a bad attitude. It depends on the day you call or go to the office (if they are even back from there week and a half long lunch break)to ask a question or put in a work order. The apartment that I'm in although decent does has it's kinks. Such as, the plumbing on the second floor is HORRIBLE and from what I've been told by the downstairs neighbor their plumbing is also terrible and isn't helped by our shower water draining into their bathtub. The sink and dishwasher in the kitchen do get clogged...a LOT of the time. But I must say that the maintenance men are usually prompt if their is an emergency.Usually. The wooden stairs that lead up to the second floor, depending on what apartment section you find yourself in, are getting old and beat up. But unless you call in a work order, those steps will never be fixed regardless if the maintenance people have driven by it a million times. The neighbors or decent, though there are those nights with loud kids and blasting cars. Those nights are short lived and very few. The parking is and can be a major hassle, the office staff are very strick on cars not being on the grass but yet when all the parking spaces are full there is no other places to park. I personally don't like coming home from work at about 11-12 clock at night and having to walk 15 miles just to get to my front door. Another stress point is that you don't have any say what goes on your porch, the office does. So,try not to put out any trash later than a minute and make sure your outside furniture adheres to the office staff criteria for outside furniture. All in all this is a decent apartment complex with it's few dings here and there but, not a complex to live long term.
